For our April 26-28, 2024 NASCAR weekend, there’s always FREE, fun and exciting activities happening in Dover Motor Speedway’s Fan Zone.

Be sure to bring the entire family to the Monster Mile next spring with America’s best drivers return to the World’s Fastest One-Mile Oval. The Fan Zone, frequently cited as the best in NASCAR, is home or nearby countless events during the weekend, including the following:

All Weekend

50/50 RAFFLE: Win big during the 50/50 Raffle at Dover Motor Speedway. The winning ticket will be drawn and announced on Monday, April 29.

  • Rules:
    • You must claim prize within 30 days of draw date.
    • 50 percent of the proceeds will go to help local children; the other 50 percent could be YOURS!

  • Purchase at the Track Treasures Trailer, located near the Monster Monument, or from teams selling raffle tickets in red smocks, who will be positioned throughout the Speedway on race weekend.

THE WORLD’S LARGEST RUBBER DUCK: This 60-foot-tall, 15.5-ton yellow behemoth will tower over the Fan Zone throughout Dover’s NASCAR weekend. Sure to be a popular photo attraction, the duck has made frequent U.S. and international appearances in recent years.

NASCAR KIDS ZONE: Activities for racing fans of all ages abound in this traveling display, which includes fun, games and interactive activities, as well as information on your favorite drivers and the science behind all the technology a NASCAR team utilizes each week.

WHITE LIGHTNING, Bar + Arcade: The indoor/outdoor hangout for campers and fans to enjoy all weekend near the Monster Monument, featuring a full bar with Anheuser-Busch products as well as more than a dozen classic arcade favorites and trivia contests. Named for the original nickname of Dover Motor Speedway’s concrete track, the full WHITE LIGHTNING, Bar + Arcade hours are below:

“THE KING’S HAT”: Placed as part of the Petty Family's 75th anniversary in NASCAR. The six-foot tall, 1,000-pound fiberglass and concrete statue, to be placed near the Monster Monument, features a collection of photos of Richard and Kyle Petty at Dover, including from Richard's 199th career NASCAR Cup Series victory in May 1984. The hats are hand-crafted by TivoliToo, Inc., the same company that designed and built the Charles Schulz Peanuts® character tribute in Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minn. MICRO PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING: Talented athletic performers will match up in several professional wrestling battles on April 27 and April 28. The Micro Wrestling Federation has been drawing fans across the nation for more than 20 years for its shows featuring high-flying action, body slams and leaps from the top rope! Formed in 2000, the Micro Wrestling Federation features an entire cast of athletes and performers under 5 feet tall. SHOWTIMES: Saturday: 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m.; Sunday: 9:45 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 1:30 p.m.

TYLER’S AMAZING BALANCING ACT: As seen on “America’s Got Talent” and shows across the country for the last eight years, this unique, high-energy performance includes wheelbarrows, bikes and ladders balanced on the performer’s face, combined with music and dancing.

ALLY THE PIPER: The most-followed bagpiper on the Internet with nearly 3 million fans, and a world-champion performer, this New York-based multi-instrumentalist is a marvel with Highland bagpipes, Scottish smallpipes, Irish whistles and vocals.  

BUMPER CARS: While watching America’s best drivers on the track, get behind the wheel of these fair favorites off the track throughout the weekend.

THE STROLLING PIANO: A fully mobile, self-contained piano and a skilled musician move around performing high speed entertainment and playing your favorites around the Fan Zone. He will bring the party to you!

BEAR HOLLOW WOOD CARVERS: Skilled chainsaw artists create one-of-a-kind sculptures, both small and large. The unique creations will then be auctioned off throughout the weekend in Victory Plaza near the Monster Monument to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, Dover Motor Speedway Chapter. AUCTION TIMES: Saturday: 11:45 a.m., Sunday: 11 a.m.

DOCKDOGS: The world’s premier canine aquatics company brings your favorite leaping pooches to the Monster Mile for multiple performances. The group performs dozens of shows around the country each year!

AXE THROWING: Test your aim with six available lanes in this challenging skill contest.

  • Friday, April 26: Noon to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 27: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Sunday, April 28: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

DEL RODS CAR CLUB SHOWS: Take a step back in time. A huge display of vintage, restored, and awesome muscle cars will be on display in the Fan Zone with shows before the Saturday and Sunday races. The Del Rods appearance comes less than two months before Dover Motor Speedway hosts the Goodguys Rod and Custom Association’s 1st Grundy Insurance Mid-Atlantic Nationals presented by R&M Performance on June 7-9.

ZOOPERSTARS!: As seen on ESPN and “Amercia’s Got Talent,” fans of all ages love to watch this one-of-a-kind mascot inflatable entertainment show.

MIRROR MEN: With shimmering outfits and fancy moves, these strolling entertainers brighten up any area with their antics and comic abilities.

ROBOCARS: These transforming performers are cars one minute and life-sized action figures the next, with highly skilled operators bringing brightly colored, unique, and innovative costumes to life, with amazing driving skills and crowd interaction.

STROLLING PLANT: This leafy favorite adapts his hilarious humor and ‘plant-related banter’ for all ages and plays well with the whole family. He can be seen standing or sitting in his flowerpot or driving around, standing on a mini-segway to engage with guests.

THE LITTLE FARM PETTING ZOO: All your farm favorites are ready to meet the whole family. Attraction includes pony rides, goats, donkeys and other creatures and allows everyone to get up close with a variety of barnyard friends. New for ’24 … the addition of free face painting for kids of all ages!

FEARLESS FLORES THRILL SHOW: As seen on “America’s Got Talent,” this family takes on the famous Globe of Death, 65-foot Sway Pole, the Wheel of Destiny and much more! SHOWTIMES: Friday: 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m.; Saturday: 10:15 a.m., 11:15 a.m., 12:45 p.m.: Sunday: 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 1:15 p.m.

USO MILITARY VILLAGE PRESENTED BY WASTE MASTERS: Huge area that displays our country’s finest military assets. Learn how this group assists service members and their families around the world. Check out various military vehicles and apparatus and the following activities:

MTV LEGEND RIKI RACHTMAN: The longtime host of MTV’s “Headbangers Ball” will emcee several events with NASCAR drivers and other personalities, including Saturday’s Monster Mile Bash.

HISTORICAL HIGHLIGHTS: Relive 50-plus years of racing memories at the Monster Mile with 16 Historical Highlight signs near the Grove Stage and the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza. From Richard Petty to Jimmie Johnson to Dale Earnhardt Jr., learn about some of the top stars and moments that have made Dover Motor Speedway a must-see venue since 1969.

TRACK TREASURES TRAILER: Mementos, NASCAR collectibles, one-of-a-kind autographed items, clothing and advertising banners for sale near the Monster Monument to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, Dover Motor Speedway Chapter.

THURSDAY, APRIL 25

LAPS FOR CHARITY, 6:30-8:30 p.m.: Drive your personal vehicle on the high banks of the Monster Mile’s concrete oval. There are two ways you can take on the World’s Fastest One-Mile Oval:

  • REGULAR SESSION: For $75 per vehicle, participants will take five laps around the track behind a Dover track vehicle.
  • PACE CAR RIDE: For $125, take a spin as a passenger for five laps in Dover’s Ford Mustang Mach-1 Pace Car.

  • Additional opportunities for fans to drive the Monster Mile will be available after race weekend, including Saturday, July 20.

FRIDAY, APRIL 26

ARCA MENARDS SERIES EAST AUTOGRAPH SESSION, General Tire Display, Fan Zone, 2:15 p.m.: Meet the next generation of top drivers before they take on the Monster Mile in the General Tire 150. First 150 in line will receive a wristband for entry. Wristbands will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

MOVIE NIGHT AT THE MONSTER, 8 p.m.: Bring a chair and a cooler and enjoy the Academy Award-winning Top Gun: Maverick on Friday night at the Monster Monument. Top Gun: Maverick was nominated for six Oscars and won for Best Sound.

SATURDAY, APRIL 27

NASCAR XFINITY SERIES AUTOGRAPH SESSION, NASCAR KIDS ZONE DISPLAY, FAN ZONE, 9:45 a.m.: Meet stars of the NASCAR Xfinity Series before they get behind the wheel for 200 laps. First 150 people in line will receive a wristband for entry. Wristbands will be available 30 minutes prior to the start of the session.

3RD ANNUAL MONSTER MILE CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT, 4 p.m.: Hosted by Delaware Cornhole, registration for the tournament is available online, with the boards set up just steps from the famous Monster Monument at Victory Plaza. Additional cornhole boards will be available for non-competitive free-play as well. The event is part of the Speedway’s Monster Mile Bash, presented by THOR. The tournament entry fee is $50 for a two-person team, with a guaranteed prize pool of $2,500 at stake. All ages and skill levels are welcome to participate. Registration is first-come, first-served, with a limit of 100 teams. Players can sign-up at the link above or in person in the Fan Zone on Saturday, April 27.

DIRTY DEEDS, THE AC/DC EXPERIENCE, 4 p.m., Grove Stage: For more than 20 years, the Boston-based musical group has toured the U.S. with a high-energy tribute to one of the world’s great rock bands and performing all of AC/DC’s timeless hits.

SATURDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS, presented by Kent County Tourism, 9 p.m.: The spectacular display is visible from all areas of the property.

SUNDAY, APRIL 28

MONSTER MONUMENT INTERVIEWS: See some of your favorite NASCAR drivers and personalities for appearances at the famous 46-foot Monster Monument at Victory Plaza.

  • Kyle Busch, 11 a.m.: driver of the No. 8 Chevrolet and three-time Dover NASCAR Cup Series winner. 
  • William Byron, 11:30 a.m.: driver of the No. 24 Chevrolet and this year’s Daytona 500 champion. 
  • Jimmie Johnson/Martin Truex Jr., 11:45 a.m.: Driver of the No. 84 Toyota, a NASCAR Hall of Famer and the Monster Mile’s all-time leader with 11 NASCAR Cup Series victories (Johnson) and driver of the No. 19 Toyota and four-time Dover NASCAR Cup Series winner (Truex).
  • Richard Petty and Dale Inman, Noon: NASCAR Hall of Famers who won 188 races and seven championships together as a driver and crew chief, respectively. At Dover, Petty is a seven-time winner in the NASCAR Cup Series.

TIM DUGGER AND FRIENDS TOUR: American country singer and songwriter Tim Dugger and his friends will entertain Monster Mile fans as part of a national tour of NASCAR venues. Dugger’s Dover Motor Speedway appearances will take place on the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza. 

AMISH OUTLAWS: Headlining on the Grove Stage and “straight outta Amish country,” the popular band will perform their traditional blend of rock, country, and pop hits for fans of all ages. Their combination of musical skills and memorable on-stage presence have drawn a large regional following through the years.

SCC-DOVER LIVE AUCTION: Signed items and once-in-a-lifetime experiences will be auctioned off at the Monster Monument at Victory Plaza, benefitting Speedway Children's Charities, Dover Motor Speedway chapter. Items include:

  • Martin Truex Jr. signed 2023 – Wurth 400 Car topper: Signed by the four-time Dover Motor Speedway champion after winning the Würth 400 on May 1, 2023.
  • Ryan Truex signed A-Game 200 Car topper: Signed following the veteran driver’s first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win on April 29, 2023.
  • Würth 400 Victory Lane visit and photo with race winner: Enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join the celebration in the Monster Mile’s Victory Lane following the Würth 400 NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, April 28.
  • Custom Wurth cornhole boards, signed by Ryan Blaney: Signed by the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series champion and featuring the Würth 400 logo.

UNITED STATES NAVAL ACADEMY DRUM & BUGLE CORPS: Comprised of 100 midshipmen from all classes and majors, the corps will entertain fans near the Monster Monument and perform the national anthem before the green flag of the Würth 400. Formed in 1914, the Naval Academy Drum & Bugle Corps is the oldest active drum corps in the nation.

PHILADELPHIA'S UPTOWN STRING BAND MUMMERS: The popular folk group with elaborate costumes will entertain outside the grandstands and inside the oval as the NASCAR Cup Series drivers make their way to the pre-race stage for driver introductions.

MASCOTS/CHEER SQUADS: Your favorite mascots and cheerleaders from area professional teams, colleges, and venues will meet and greet fans near the Monster Monument. Those scheduled to appear include:
