Memorial Day weekend is a time to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States.
At Dover Motor Speedway, that spirit of remembrance is front and center all year long, including during its annual NASCAR weekend on July 18-20. This year, the track once again pays tribute to America’s fallen heroes with a patriotic twist that blends high-speed action and heartfelt homage.
In support of active-duty military, veterans, and first responders, Dover Motor Speedway offers special ticket pricing through GOV-X. This exclusive discount program provides eligible individuals with reduced admission prices to experience the thrill of NASCAR.
GOV-X tickets are easy to access with verification, making it simple for America’s heroes to enjoy a weekend of racing, celebration and remembrance.
Towering above the Monster Mile is the iconic Monster Monument at Victory Plaza. Standing at 46 feet tall, this concrete colossus is a fan favorite which displays a true-size NASCAR Cup Series car in the Monument's outstretched right hand. The car includes the same camouflage pattern that service personnel at Dover Air Force Base (located just five miles south of the track) wear every day.
The camouflage design serves as a powerful visual tribute to the sacrifice of service members, blending the pageantry of NASCAR with national pride.
From pre-race ceremonies honoring Gold Star families to the roar of engines echoing freedom, NASCAR at Dover combines tradition and adrenaline in a uniquely American way.
