Most NASCAR fans have imagined what it would be like to drive around a racetrack. At Dover Motor Speedway, you can!

During Laps for Charity, participants have the unique opportunity to drive their own personal vehicle around the same one-mile concrete oval that has challenged NASCAR's biggest stars for more than 55 years. Whether you're behind the wheel of your daily driver, a classic car or your favorite weekend cruiser, it's a chance to experience The Monster Mile from a perspective few fans ever will.

Laps for Charity returns to Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday, Aug. 1, and Sunday, Sept. 27, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Speedway Children's Charities.

Drive The Monster Mile

There aren't many opportunities to drive on a professional racetrack—let alone one of NASCAR's most iconic venues.

For $75 per vehicle, participants can take five paced laps around Dover Motor Speedway behind an official pace vehicle. Those looking for an even more memorable experience can upgrade to a VIP session for $125, which includes eight laps as the only vehicle on the track behind the pace vehicle.

Whether you're a lifelong NASCAR fan or simply looking for a one-of-a-kind experience, it's a chance to see Dover Motor Speedway in a way that's normally reserved for professional drivers.

See Dover From a Driver's Perspective

Watching NASCAR race around The Monster Mile from the grandstands is unforgettable.

Driving on the same racing surface is something else entirely.

Participants get a driver's-eye view of Dover's famous concrete surface, steep 24-degree banking and towering grandstands while following the official pace car around the iconic one-mile oval. It's a completely different perspective than race day and one that most fans never have the opportunity to experience.

Want to make the day even more memorable? Participants can add a pace car ride for an even closer look at the Speedway or purchase a professional photo in front of the iconic Monster Monument at Victory Plaza to commemorate the experience.

Bring Your Friends, Family or Car Club

Laps for Charity is a great opportunity for families, friends and car enthusiasts to experience Dover Motor Speedway together.

Whether you're checking a bucket-list item off your list, introducing someone to The Monster Mile for the first time or organizing an outing with your local car club, the event offers a fun and unique way to spend the day at one of NASCAR's most historic tracks.

Car clubs and organized groups are welcome and are encouraged to contact Dover Motor Speedway in advance to coordinate participation.

Drive for a Great Cause

While the opportunity to drive on a NASCAR track is what brings many participants to Dover, every lap also helps support an important mission.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from Laps for Charity benefit Speedway Children's Charities, helping children in need throughout Delaware and the surrounding region.

It's a unique opportunity to create an unforgettable memory while making a meaningful impact in the local community.
