Dover Motor Speedway and Blood Bank of Delmarva honor the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with the 21st annual Memorial Blood Drive on Sept. 11, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Donors can save lives and drive their vehicles on the track. Pre-registration is encouraged; walk-ins welcome as space allows.

On May 16, 2021, Alex Bowman led Hendrick Motorsports to a historic 1-2-3-4 sweep at Dover Motor Speedway, winning his second race of the season. Six years later, Bowman, set to retire after 2027, will make his final full-time Cup Series start at Dover on May 16, 2027, revisiting the track of his dominant victory.
